Two murdered in two districts  

Two persons including a madrasa boy were killed in separate incidents in two districts- Noakhali and Sherpur, recently.
NOAKHALI: A madrasa student was hacked to death and his brother critically injured in Sonaimuri Upazila of the district on Tuesday night.
The deceased was identified as Saimun, 16.
Local sources said Saimun's elder brother Shimul was locked into an altercation with one Mir Hossain, 20, on Tuesday afternoon over playing football.
As a sequel, Mir Hossain with his followers attacked the brothers around 8pm in Alokpara Village. They started beating Shimul mercilessly. As Saimun tried to save his brother, the attackers stabbed him, leaving him dead on the scene.Shimul was rushed to Upazila Health Complex.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sonaimuri Police Station (PS) Abdus Samad confirmed the incident.
NALITABARI, SHERPUR: A farmer Amjad Ali, 45, was killed for asking his due to another younger farmer at Nalitabari in the district on Sunday night.
The incident took place at Khorkhoriakanda Votghor Bazar area of the upazila.
According to local sources,  Amjad Ali  ploughed some land pieces of  farmer Abdullah Al Mamun Rubel, 35,  of neighbouring Khorkhoria Village in the last Boro season.
In paying the ploughing charge, Rubel  was taking time. Amjad found him (Rubel) at Voteghor Bazar and asked for giving his due. It reached into a hot talk. At one age, Rubel started boxing him desperately.
As Amjad was seriously injured, he was taken to Nalitabari Hospital where doctor declared him dead.
It was confirmed by Nalitabari PS OC Basir Ahmed Badal. An allegation has been filed by Amjad's son Sayedul Islam with the police station. The body was sent to Sherpur morgue for an autopsy.
