One killed in Pirojpur road accident 

PIROJPUR, Dec 16: A three-wheeler (Nosimon) driver was killed in a road accident at Nazirpur in the district on Sunday evening.

The accident occurred at Dakatia Village under Nazirpur Upazila. Police and local sources said, a Dhaka-bound bus of 'Sheba Green Line' Paribahan hit a Nosimon from the opposite side.

The Nosimon driver, Ratan Majumder, 50, sustained serious injuries in the collision and later died.
The victim was identified as the son of late Rabindra Majumder from Juduskhola under Sikder-Mollick Union of Pirojpur Sadar Upazila.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Nazirpur Police Station, Harunor Rashid Hawlader, confirmed the news, adding that a case has been filed in connection with the incident.
