JUCSU holds prayer for Osman Hadi

Jahangirnagar University Central Students’ Union (JUCSU) on Friday organised a doa mahfil in memory of Sharif Osman Hadi, a frontline activist of the July mass uprising and founding convener of the Inqilab Mancha.

The prayer gathering was held at the university’s central Jame Mosque after Jumu’ah prayers, where participants sought eternal peace for the departed soul and strength for his bereaved family.

JUCSU Joint General Secretary Ferdous Al Hasan said the program was arranged to honour Osman Hadi’s sacrifice and to pray for forgiveness of his soul, describing his death as a great loss for the student community.
JUCSU General Secretary Md Mazharul Islam, other JUCSU leaders, teachers, students, university officials and worshippers were present at the doa mahfil.
