Govt cancels National Export Trophy activities for FY 2022-23

The government has announced the cancellation of all activities related to the National Export Trophy for the fiscal year 2022-23.

The cancellation was announced in a notification issued by the Export-4 Branch of the Ministry of Commerce on Tuesday. The notification was signed by the Ministry's Deputy Secretary MdRazzaqul Islam on the orders of the President.

The National Export Trophy has been being given in the country for the past few years in recognition of its contribution to the export sector through foreign exchange earnings and job creation.
The last time this award was given to a total of 77 organizations was on July 14, 2024. That year, the winners of the fiscal year 2021-22 received the award.
