BNP unveils 36 more possible candidates for nat'l polls

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has released another list of 36 potential candidates; four of them from Dhaka, to contest the upcoming national election.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the names on Thursday at the party Chairperson’s office in Gulshan.

He noted that further names would be finalized after discussions with allied parties.

Earlier, on November 3, BNP disclosed a primary list of 237 candidates.

The following day, the party suspended the nomination of Kamal Zaman Mollah for Madaripur-1 constituency.
