A day-long free medical camp was organised at the Mohammadpur Town Hall ground in Dhaka under the joint initiative of Seba Women Foundation and Lions Club, Khamarbari, Dhaka.
The camp was held on Sunday, January 11, starting from 10:00 am, with the aim of providing primary healthcare services to underprivileged and low-income communities.
At the medical camp, experienced doctors offered a wide range of services, including general health check-ups, women and child health consultations, diabetes and blood pressure screening, eye care, medicine, chest disease, dermatology, gynaecology, and dental consultations.
Alongside primary treatment, free medicines were distributed as needed, and participants were provided with health awareness and preventive care advice.
Seba Women Foundation President Tania Sharmin said, "Our primary goal is to ensure healthcare services for underprivileged and low-income people in society. Through this medical camp, we aimed to deliver basic healthcare at the doorstep of the general public."
