Major alliances failed to end graft

Ameer of Islami Andolon Bangladesh Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, popularly known as Pir Charmonai, has said that both major political alliances contesting the 13th national parliamentary election had previously been in power but failed to eradicate corruption and terrorism.

He made the remarks on Friday after Juma prayers while addressing an election rally at the Konabari College ground in Gazipur in support of Islami Andolon Bangladesh candidate Maulana GM Ruhul Amin for the Gazipur-1 constituency.
