Elderly man found hanging in Laxmipur

LAXMIPUR, Feb 1: Police on Wednesday recovered the hanging body of an elderly man from a tree in the districts Raipur Upazila.
The deceased was identified as Osman Bepari, 75, a resident of Charkachhia Village under Dakshin Charbangshi Union.
According to  villagers, no one had any conflict with Osman Bepari. But he had a family dispute with his two sons. He left home around 1 am on Tuesday. After that, he did not return home. In the morning, local people found his body hanging from a tree near his house.
Later on, being informed, police recovered the body from the spot and sent it to morgue for an autopsy.
In-charge of Raipur Hajimara Police Outpost Abul Kalam Azad confirmed the news.
