Arms trader held with pistol in Laxmipur

Detectives have arrested an arms trader along with a pistol from Ramganj upazila of Laxmipur district.

Arrested Md Ibrahim is resident of Kashimnagar village under the upazila.

The district DB police officer in-charge AKM Fazlul Haque said a team of DB police raided the village on Tuesday night and arrested him.

A pistol was recovered from his possession.

Ibrahim was sent to jail on Wednesday following a court order, he added.
