A mobile court conducted by the Department of Environment (DoE) in city's Turag area on Wednesday fined two business establishments for various irregularities.
DoE executive magistrate Sadequr Rahman Sabuj conducted the drive.
It fined Hafsa Bread and Biscuit Factory Tk 20,000 for using artificial food colour in its products and running the business without trade license and certificate from the DoE.
On the other hand, Bright Star Packaging industries Ltd was fined Tk 2,000 for various irregularities.
