Bogura dist civil surgeon among 109 test corona positive
Bogura district civil surgeon Dr Gausul Azam among 109 people were tested positive for coronavirus in last 24 hours on Thursday in Bogura, raising the cases to 2,516.
The district deputy civil surgeon Dr Mustafizur Rahman confirmed the matter.
A total of 109 people including civil surgeon Dr Gausul Azam, Sadar Upazila Health Complex health and family planning official Dr Dr Samir Hossain Mishu and Bogura Press Club president Mahmudul Alam Nayan have tested positive for the virus, said Dr Mustafizur.
A total of 334 samples were collected for tests on Wednesday, of them, 109 found positive, he added.
So far, 43 patients died from coronavirus in the district.
Of the infected, 76 were male, 29 female and four children.
