One injured as plaster falls from DU hall wall

A student has suffered injuries after a chunk of plaster collapsed from a wall at Dhaka University's (DU) Kobi Jasimuddin Hall.

The incident took place on Wednesday night in Room 324, where Emdadul Haque Durjoy, a first-year Political Science student, was preparing to sleep when a large section of plaster suddenly detached from the wall near his bed.

The fallen debris caused sand to enter his eyes.
