WUB marks 22nd foundation day

The World University of Bangladesh (WUB) proudly announced the names of distinguished freedom fighters and contributors to the nations independence struggle marking its 22nd Foundation Day.

The recipients include Shahid Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni, chief of Mujib Bahini during the War of Liberation, Minister of Road and Highway Obaidul Quader, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan, Agriculture Minister Dr Md Abdus Shahid, Minister of Housing and Public Works R A M Obaidul Muktadir Chowdhury, Prof Dr Pran Gopal Datta, Advocate Munsurul Haq Chowdhury, and Prof Dr Abdul Mannan Choudhury.

In addition to acknowledging these heroes, WUB published supplements and a souvenir featuring brief biographies of the honored freedom fighters, aiming to immortalize their stories and inspire future generations with their bravery and resilience.
The day-long foundation day celebration included a welcome speech by Morsheda Choudhury, the Treasurer of WUB, and was presided over by Professor Dr M Nurul Islam, Pro Vice Chancellor.
