Two arrested with 290 bottles of foreign liquor at Dhanmondi
Two people have been arrested with foreign liquor of different brands conducting drives at different places under Dhanmondi Police Station in the capital.
The arrested were Minal Sharif and Salma Akter.
At that time, 290 bottles of different brands of foreign liquor, two passports, a private car and cash Tk 50,000 were seized from their possession.
Dhanmondi Model Police Station's officer-in-charge Md Parvez Islam said they arrested the persons on Thursday night.
He said police raided a residence at Dhanmondi area at 10:30pm on Thursday. During the drive, police arrested Minal and Salma along with the liquor from the residence.
The OC said a case was filed against the arrested persons at Dhanmondi Police Station.
