BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury has received bail in two more cases filed with Ramna and Paltan police stations in the capital Dhaka over violence in BNP's grand rally on October 28 last year.

With this, Amir Khasru got bail in eight out of 10 cases lodged against him over the clashes between police and BNP men and alleged attacks on different establishments, including the residence of the chief justice at Kakrail during BNP's grand rally at Nayapaltan in the capital.
Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate of Dhaka Tofazzal Hossain granted bail to him after a hearing on his bail prayers on Sunday.

The court also set Wednesday (January 24) for hearing bail petitions in the rest two cases filed against Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury with the two police stations.
