A bus assistant was killed and ten others were injured as a bus hit hard another one at Bhaluka upazila in Mymensingh district on Tuesday morning.
Deceased Sharif Khan, 35, was the son of late Idris Ali, a resident of the upazila.
Police said a Dhaka-bound Islam Paribahan bus rammed another bus of Rajib Paribahan at Habirbari Square in Masterbari Bus Stand area on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway when the latter was standing on the road, leaving Sharif, assistant of Islam Paribahan, dead on the spot.
Ten other passengers were also injured in the accident.
