Minor boy killed after rape; culprit held
Police have arrested a teenager boy on charge of killing a minor boy after rape in Phulbari upazila of Kurigram.
Arrested Russel Mia, 15, of Telitari village in the upazila, confessed his of killing six-year-old Siam after rape before a court on Monday.
Police arrested Russel and four others on Sunday for interrogation.
During primary interrogation, he confessed his involvement in the killing.
Earlier, on June 20, police recovered the body of Siam from a jute field in the village.
After one week of investigation, police arrested the five in this connection.
Investigation officer of the case (Investigation) Nabiul Hasan confirmed the matter.
