Local administration on Friday distributed relief materials among 1623 poor families in Sadar upazila of Barguna.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Masuma Akhter distributed the relief items among the 338 low income families in no-7 Dolua union parishad while 1285 families in Ayla-Patakata union parishad.
Ayla-Patakata UP chairman Khandker Ashfaqur Rahman Firoz, Dolua UP chairman Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal Titu and upazila agriculture official Mustafizur Rahman, among others, were present in the programme.
