Bangladesh progressive Columnists Forum organised a seminar on role of leadership in Dhaka on Thursday.
The seminar titled "The role of Leadership in Cultural Awakening and Progressive Society Rebuilding and Our Prime Minister" was held at Zahur Hossain Chowdhury Auditorium of National Press Club around 11.00 am.
Bangladesh Awami League Presidium Member and former home Minister Mohammad Nasim addressed the seminar as chief guest while Islamic University, Kushtia (IU) Vice-chancellor Professor Dr Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari spoke as the special guest.
Among others, World University of Bangladesh (WUB) Vice-chancellor Abdul Mannan Choudhury, Bangladesh Police ex-IGP and Columnist AKM Shahidul Haque, Director General (DG) of Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) Zafar Wazed, and National Press Club general secretary Farida Yasmin, were also present.
Bangladesh Progressive Columnists Forum convener and Jagannath University (JnU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mizanur Rahman presided over the programme while JnU Treasurer Prof M Kamaluddin Ahmed presented the paper titled on "The role of leadership in cultural awakening and progressive society building and Our Prime Minister”.
