A court in Feni on Tuesday placed four people on a five-day remand in a case filed over torching Feni madrasha student.
The court of Senior Judicial Magistrate Saraf Uddin Ahmed passed the order.
Those who were remanded are: Noor Hossain, Kefayet Ullah, Mohammad Alauddin and Sahidul Islam.
Court inspector Golam Jilani said Sonagazi Model police inspector (investigation) Kamal Hossain, also the IO of the case, sought seven days' remand for seven arrested accused in the case.
After hearing the petition, the court granted five days' remand for four accused.
The three other accused-- madrasha principal SM Siraj Ud Doula, English lecturer Absar Uddin and fellow student Ariful Islam had been sent to jail following court order.
Hearing on their remand petition could not be held today because of their absence.
Nusrat Jahan Rafi, an Aleem examinee from Sonagazi Fazil Madrsaha was set on fire allegedly by some fellows in the morning of April 6 as she refused to withdraw a case filed against the madrasha principal for sexual harassment.
Police said the victim had lodged a complaint against the madrasha principal over sexual harassment on March 17.
The girl has been undergoing treatment at the Burn and Plastic Surgery Unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Her condition was stated to be critical.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has directed doctors to send Nusrat to Singapore for better treatment.
But, her physical condition is not fit enough to move her to Singapore, said Dr Samanta Lal Sen, coordinator of the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, on Tuesday
