JSC examinee 'kills self'
A Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinee reportedly hanged herself in Birampur upazila of Dinajpur on Tuesday afternoon as she could not score expected result.
Deceased Taposi Tirga, 14, was a student of Katla High School. She was the daughter of Noresh Tirga, a resident of Choughuria village in Katla union under the upazila.
Quoting family, Katla Union Parishad Chairman Nazir Hossain said Taposi hanged herself in the absence of family members in house soon after the announcement of results as she did not get expected result.
Birampur Police Station officer in-charge Moniruzzaman Monir confirmed the matter.
