Training for village police held at Kaliganj

KALIGANJ, GAZIPUR, Jan 18: A three-day training course for village police members working in various union parishads was completed in Kaliganj Upazila on Thursday.
Kaliganj Upazila administration organized the training titled "Responsibilities and Functions of Village Police Force" in collaboration with National Institute of Local Government (NILG) in the Upazila Parishad conference room which began on Tuesday.
Deputy Director of NILG Mizanur Rahman was present as the chief guest at the programme inaugurated by Kaliganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Azizur Rahman.
Officer-in-Charge of Kaliganj Police Station Mahatab Uddin, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr SM Manjur-e-Elahi, Secondary Education Officer Noor-e-Jannat, Social Service Officer Shahadat Hossain, Women Affairs Officer Shahnaz Akter and Banbeis Assistant Programmer Ujjal Kumar Sheel were present as trainers.
