Primary schools in Panchagarh closed

The authorities ordered to close classes of the primary schools in Panchagarh district on Thursday as the temperature in the district dipped below 10 degrees Celsius.

However, there was no announcement to close secondary schools.
According to the report of Tetuliya Meteorological Observatory on Thursday, the lowest temperature was recorded at 8.7 degrees Celsius at 9 am.

In such a situation, Assistant District Primary Education Officer Saifuzzaman on Thursday informed the concerned in a letter that the class activities of all primary schools in the district will be closed.

However, he could not give any decision about next Sunday. Meanwhile, many students came schools before the letter was announced after 11 am.

Some headmasters said that the weather report was published at 9 am. After this report, the school is supposed to be closed or open. But before receiving such information, the students have arrived at schools.
