A teenage girl reportedly committed suicide in Dinajpur's Parbatipur upazila on Tuesday.
The deceased was Khushi, 14, daughter of Bablu Mia, a resident of Baraharipur Gazarmari Para under Chandipur union.
According to police, Khushi was behaving like a mentally unstable person for a long time. In the afternoon, Khushi went to sleep in her room. Later, she was found hanging from the ceiling of the room after breaking the door.
Parbatipur Model Police Station sub-inspector Masud Rana confirmed it.
He said the body was handed over to the family without autopsy as there was no complaint.
