Bike collision claims one live in Bhola

A man was killed and another four were injured in a collision between two motorbikes on the Char Fasson-South Aicha regional highway at Char Fasson upazila in Bhola district on Monday night.

The deceased was identified as Md Bachhu, 30, son of Abdus Shaheed, a resident of Fulbagicha village under the upazila.
According to locals, Bachhu along with one Sohag was returning to Charfesson Bazar from South Aicha. On the way, when they reached in front of Brothers Filling Station at Char Fasson Bazar area, another bike carrying three passengers collided with their bike, leaving five persons from both motorbikes critically injured.

Locals rushed them to Char Fasson Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctor declared Bachhu dead and referred the others to a hospital for better treatment, said Rebeka Naznin, a medical officer of the upazila health complex.

Char Fasson Police Station officer-in-charge Md Shakwat Hossain said police recovered the body and sent to a hospital morgue for autopsy.

Legal action would be taken if the family members filed a complaint in this regard, the OC added.
