Jahangirnagar University (JU) students, who are staying at halls forcibly, have not vacate the dormitories by 10am.

They are staying there defying order of the authorities which asked them to leave the campus by 10am on Monday.

Meanwhile, the agitating students announced to gather at Paribahan Chattar this afternoon over the issue.
A notice, signed by the JU acting Registrar Rahima Kaniz, on Sunday midnight which instructed the students to vacate the dormitories by 10am. Otherwise the authorities will take legal action against them.

On Saturday, students unlocked the doors of some halls as the authorities did not take any step to fulfill their three-point demand, including hall reopening, and are staying there defying directives of the government.
