Bangladeshi trader gunned down in SA

A Bangladeshi trader was gunned down by a group of miscreants inside his shop in Johannesburg city, South Africa on Saturday night.

The deceased was identified as Ashu Ali Khan Lincoln, 30, hailed from Uttar Rajarampur village under Senbag upazila in Noakhali.

Zafar Khan, uncle of the deceased, said a gang of miscreants shot Lincoln in Fordsburg area in the city at about 8.30pm as he obstructed them, leaving him critically injured.

The trader was rushed to a local hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.

Lincoln went to South Africa 10 years ago and running a mobile phone shop there.
