JESSORE, May 18: Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested 19 persons from Sikri Battala border area of Benapole, Jessore.
BGB members arrested them in Sikri Battala frontier area while they were crossing the Ichhamoti River in Indian part.
They went to India through agents on different times for job. Without getting any job, they became frustrated and were returning home through Sikri Battala border. The members of BGB arrested them when they were returning to Bangladesh.
BGB Benapole camp commander Giasuddin said, among the arrested persons, seven are male, nine females and three are children. They hail from Dhaka, Kushtia, Chuadanga, Narail, Jessore and other districts.     ?BSS
