Brothers bag easy win over ten-man Uttar Baridhara

Brother Union, the Gopibagh outfits, celebrated a 2-0 easy win over ten-man Uttar Baridhara in their first match of the KFC Independence Cup Football-2016 on Saturday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka.
Uttar Baridhara became a ten-man unit in the 50th minute when striker Faisal Ahmed Shitol was handed a second yellow card, equal to a red card, by referee Bhuvon Mohan Tarafder for fouling an opponent defender.
The Gopibagh boys celebrated their first goal in the 33rd minute with their midfielder Mezbah Uddin curved a shot to the goalmouth that find the net after touching an opponent defender.
Before opening the net, Brothers had a chance to score in the 14th minute. Their midfielder Kawser Ali Rabby took a shot towards the post which unfortunately flew a little over the crosspiece.
Yet, Uttar Baridhara could hold Brother at the eleventh hour if their skipper Sentu Chanda Shen, who headed on a corner of defender Khalekujjaman, could fire the net. But Brothers' custodian Uttam Barua fisted it timely.
Brother doubled the margin in the 84th minute with their Nigerian striker NKowcha Kingsley hit the net with a solo effort.
Baridhara boys could not reduce the margin till the end while Brothers left the field with their first win in their first match of the season.
