The bowling action of 13-14 bowlers was founded suspected during the recently concluded Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League. The chairman of the bowling action review committee Jalal Yunus informed it on Saturday.
On the very first day of the league four bowlers were reported for suspected blowing action and the number grew up as the league went ahead. Jalal Yunus also mentioned the committee will start working with them following the Eid.
He said, "In which way we will work with them it will be decided on Tuesday's board meeting. At least 13-14 bowlers were reported for suspected bowling action. We will call them to observe their bowling at net."
The former pacer and recent BCB director also informed they will bring specialist from abroad if needed.
"Truley speaking we are not that much experienced. We will bring specialist from abroad if needed. We need time as the help of technology is needed for the task," he added.
Jalal Yunus said BCB also has a plan to make a lab for bowling test in a limited range.
He said, "It is very expensive to establish a lab with the ICC approved facility. We want to start in a limited range with low expense. We requested to ICC for the technical help. We also have thought of hiring a specialist from Cardiff temporarily."
The committee chief also hoped they will find the bowlers with suspected action using the technology.
In this regard he said, "Form the next season of the first class league there will be at least four cameras in the field. We will verify the action of the bowlers using the technology not seeing by open eyes."
Jalal Yunus mentioned Arafat Sunny and Taskin Ahmed who were suspended from the international bowling for illegal bowling action are not under this committee as the national team management has been working with them.
"The management of national team has been working with Taskin and Sunny. The bowling action of them during the premier league will be examined soon. If we become satisfied and be sure then we will send them to appear in the test. We hope that will happen before our next international series."
However, Bangladesh will play their next series in October against England.
