Six people were killed in lightning strikes in four districts across the country from morning to afternoon on Monday.
Among them, three people lost their lives in Shariatpur district while one died each in Sylhet, Netrokona and Faridpur districts.
The deceased were identified as Amena Begum, 26, Kulsum Begum, 38, and Abdul Hannan, residents of Shariatpur district, Mahtab Uddin Matai, 45, a resident of Sylhet district, Md Dilware Mia, 35, a resident of Netrokona district, and Murad Mollik, 50, a resident of Faridpur district.
