Woman slaughtered at home in Narsingdi

A group of miscreants allegedly slaughtered a woman by entering her house at Palash upazila in Narsingdi district on Tuesday.

The incident happened around 7:00 pm at Chandragardi village in the upazila.
The victim was Delwara Begum, 50, wife of late Malek Dewan, a resident of the village.

According to locals, neighbours spotted the throat-slit body inside the house in the evening and informed police.

On information, police recovered the body, said Mohammad Iktiar Uddin, officer-in-charge of Palash Police Station.

He said they started investigation over the incident, and the mystery would be revealed within a shortest possible time.
