Burimari Express starts operation today

The operations of a new train, Burimari Express on the Dhaka-Burimari route, will be starting from today. In this regards, all preparations have already been completed, according to Bangladesh Railway.

Director General of Bangladesh Railway Quamrul Ahsan has recently announced the schedule of inaugural of the new train service for the people of Lalmonirhat, a northern district of the country.

According to Railway, Railways Minister Zillul Hakim will inaugurate the new train service at programme will be held at Lalmonirhats Burimari Station.
Earlier, the programme of inauguration of the train service deferred thrice due to various reasons.

The inauguration of the commercial operations of much-waiting new train service Burimari Express deferred for the last time from March 5 due to foreign tour of local ruling party Member of Parliament (MP) Motahar Hossain of Lalmonirhat-1 constituency.

Though it was scheduled to inaugurate the train service on March 5, the scheduled deferred due to the request of local MP Motahar Hossain who would be in an official tour to South Africa during the period.
