Vessel with goods for Rooppur plant arrives at Mongla port
A vessel named ST Sophia with Liberian flag arrived at Mongla port on Saturday with the goods of Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant.
The ship anchored at jetty-5 of Mongla port at night. The ship has a cargo with 1,681 metric tons of goods.
The ship's local shipping agent Interport Ship Agents Senior Executive Kazi Tanveer Mahabub said, the unloading of machinery products of Rooppur Power Plant will start from night. Within the next 2-3 days the entire product will be unloaded and delivered by road to the under-construction Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant project site at Ishwardi in Pabna.
