Bangladesh's under-19 women's cricket team managed to clinch a stifling victory by one run against Sri Lanka to reach the final in Tri-nation T20 Series in Cox's Bazar.
Opting to bat at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium, Bangladesh posted 114 runs losing six wickets in 20 overs.
In reply, Sri Laka were able to collect 113 runs for five wickets in 20 overs, just fell short of one run. As a result, Bangladesh took the victory away from them.
Bangladesh remain on top of the point table among the three teams having six points in three matches, with Sri Lanka and Pakistan staying in second and third positions respectively holding just one point apiece from the same number of matches.
The other finalist team will be decided after the match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan on January 30. Winners of the that game will take on Bangladesh in the final.
