3 killed in Kishoreganj road mishap

Three people were killed and another injured as a bus ran over an auto-rickshaw on Kishoreganj-Bhairab Regional Road in Kuliarchar upazila of Kishoreganj district on Tuesday.

The deceased are Motiar Rahman, 60, N Islam, 65, and Kala Mia, 40.

Mohammad Golam Mostafa, officer-in-charge (OC) of Kuliarchar Police Station, said the accident happened around 3.30pm when the bus rammed into the auto-rickshaw in Chhoysuti area, leaving two people dead on the spot and tow others injured.

Of the injured, another succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital.
