RAJSHAHI, Mar 8: A minor was electrocuted at Digha village under Bagha upazila here on Tuesday morning.
He was identified as Fahim, 3, son of Millu Rahman of the village.
Family sources said Fahim's father switched on the electric charger of a battery-driven van and left the live electric cable on the ground.
At that time, Fahim, who was playing near the van, touched the cable unconsciously and was electrocuted on the spot. Ali Mahamud, officer-in-charge (OC) of Bagha Police Station confirmed the incident.
