Noted singer Andrew Kishore was put on life support as his physical condition critical now, said his brother-in-law Dr Patrik Bipul Biswash on Monday afternoon.
He is now undergoing treatment at his sister Shikha Biswas’s clinic at Mohibatan area in Rajshahi city.
Dr Patrik told the daily Observer that Andrew was put on life support as his condition deteriorated further. “We are now busy with his treatment and will inform you on this later,” he added.
The news of singer Andrew Kishore’s critical condition spread on Sunday evening. According to his family members he is not talking to anyone right this moment. They requested the countrymen to pray for Andrew’s recovery.
In a Facebook status on Sunday night Andrew’s wife said, “Kishore is not talking now. Keeping his eyes closed he is taking rest…”
Andrew Kishore, who had been undergoing treatment at Singapore General Hospital with blood cancer for eight months since October last year, returned to Dhaka at night on June 11 last after receiving release order. On the following day, he came back to Rajshahi from Dhaka. Since then he has been staying at her sister’s house.
