Sheikh Bablu denies Abahani victory

Abahani Limited, Dhaka lost valuable point as they were forced by Bangladesh Police Football Club to play a 1-1 goal in the ABG Bashundhara Bangladesh Premier League football held at Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium in Gopalganj on Friday.

In the days match, Saint Vincent forward Cornelius Stewart put Abahani ahead early in the 9th minute but a late goal by forward Mohammed Sheikh Bablu denied Abahanis victory as he leveled the margin for Police FC in the 88th minute of the match.

With the days outcome the traditional sky blue Dhanmondi outfit Abahani Limited, who stand third position in the league table, raised their tally to 26 points from 15 matches while Bangladesh Police Football Club, placed fourth position in the league table, collected 22 points playing the same number of outings.
