Tanzid in WC thinking, Bijoy & Naim likely to be missed out

Bangladesh are going to face Zimbabwe in a five-match T20 series later this month. The team management is planning to form a squad for this series bearing in mind the upcoming T20 World Cup to be held in West Indies and the USA.

Ahead of the squad announcement, the selectors' panel called a meeting at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Tuesday. Chief selector Gazi Ashraf Hossain Lipu is planning to make the team considering the World Cup.
A BCB source said Bangladesh are going to bring a big change in the batting order with the series where Anamul Haque Bijoy and Naim Sheikh could be excluded from the team.

The duo were included in the T20 squad against Sri Lanka. Now they are going to lose their spot to Shakib Al Hasan and Tanzid Hasan Tamim. In addition, Taijul Islam is likely to miss the series due to Shakib's inclusion as a left-arm spinner as well as a batter.
