Police on Monday recovered the body of an unidentified young woman in Munshiganj's Gajaria upazila.
The body was recovered in the morning from a corn field adjacent to a road at Baiddargaon village under Tengarchar Union of the upazila.
According to locals, some local people spotted the body of the young woman, aged around 25, in a corn field on the side of the road and informed police in the morning.
Ghazaria Police Station officer in-charge Rajib Khan said initially it seemed that the girl was killed. There are injury marks on her body.
The murder mystery will be known after autopsy and further investigation, he added.
