Rocket to offer special financial services to jewelers

A memorandum of understanding has been signed with Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) and Payment Service Provider (PSP) Rocket, a financial services company.

BAJUS General Secretary Badal Chandra Roy and ABG Technologies Limited Director Mostafa Azad Mohiuddin of Rocket, a subsidiary of ABG signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.

It was held at BAJUS office in Bashundhara City Shopping Complex in the capital on Monday. BAJUSs advisor Ruhul Amin Russell was present at the event. Former president of BAJUS and Chairman of BAJUS Standing Committee on Law and Membership MA Wadud Khan, BAJUS vice-president Gulzar Ahmed, Md Ripnul Hasan and Masudur Rahman were also present.
According to Pocket Officials, Pocket e-wallet has a modern and customer-friendly mobile app, which customers can easily make secure and fast payments using or through USSD code. Customer can pay the price of purchased service or product to any merchant registered in Pocket through QR code payment or online payment.

Pocket also offers a variety of payment solutions including service charge payment, utility bill payment (gas, water, electricity, telephone), government fee payment, salary disbursement, supplier/vendor payment, payment collection from supply chain. , cable TV bill payment, add money from bank account or card, send money to bank account, request money, fund transfer etc.
