SHTC Foundation brings relief to families in need during Ramadan

The SHTC Foundation reached out to over 500 underprivileged families in Noakhali and Lakshmipur districts recently. The timely initiative provided essential food items like vermicelli, sugar, rice, and lentils to families grappling with food insecurity during the holy month of Ramadan.

The meticulously organised programme, led by Project Coordinator Engineer Mizanur Rahman, saw the distribution of 14-item relief packs aimed at alleviating immediate food concerns. The event garnered local support, with dignitaries like Ramganj Press Club President Abu Taher gracing the occasion. The distribution took place at the residence of Maulana Sultan Ahmed, a respected figure as the former Principal of Keturi BF Fazil Madrasa and the Foundations Chief Advisor.

The Foundations Advisory Board members, based in the UK and USA, issued a joint statement urging continued backing for their diverse charitable endeavors. Helal Uddin Bhuyan, Shamsuddin Bhuyan Selim, and Mohammad Khorshed Alam Khosru expressed their gratitude for the support and requested prayers for the Foundations continued success in reaching more people in need.

Project Coordinator Engineer Mizanur Rahman highlighted the pre-distribution of Iftar and food items to various locations across Noakhali and Lakshmipur. The Foundations leadership, including President Mohammed Monjurul Ahasan, General Secretary Redwan Hossain Faisal, and Public Relations Secretary Engineer Saif Uddin Sifat, expressed their sincere appreciation to Executive Members, Donors, and volunteers. They also requested prayers for the well-being of Maulana Sultan Ahmed, Razia Sultana (Chief Advisor), and the Muslim Ummah at large.

The SHTC Foundation has consistently extended a helping hand to vulnerable communities impacted by disasters across Bangladesh. Their dedication to serving impoverished families reflects their unwavering commitment to social responsibility.
