Certain changes were brought in the schedule of Bangladesh and Palestine matches in the joint qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup and AFC Asian Cup.

As per the changes, Bangladesh will face the war-torn Palestine on 21 March in the away match in Kuwait. Previously, Bangladeshs home match against Palestine was scheduled to be held in Dhaka on that day.

Also, according to the new schedule, the red and greens will play the home match at the Kings Arena in Dhaka on 26 March.

The disciples of Javier Fernandez, the head coach of Bangladesh, will begin their residential camp in Saudi Arabia for 15 days ahead of the two matches.

Kazi Nabil Ahmed, the chairman and one of the vice presidents of the BFF, revealed the information to the media on Sunday following the National Teams Committee meeting.

There will be no Premier League matches after 24 February. The preliminary squad for the national football team will be announced the next day.

The national team camp will not be held in Dhaka. The camp will be held at King Fahd Sports Complex in Taif City, Saudi Arabia on 2 March. The camp will continue till 15 March when the boys will go to Kuwait.

These changes were made due to the request of Palestine which does not have the opportunity to play at home due to the countrys ongoing struggle with the Israeli occupying force.
