A drug peddler was arrested by police at Phulbari upazila in Kurigram district on Saturday night.
The arrested was Nur Islam, 35, son of Mokbul Hossain, a resident of Char Baroloi village under Barovita.
Police said on a tip-off, a team of Phulbari Police Station conducted a drive at Char Baroloi Hajitari area and arrested him along with 97 bottles of anti cough syrup.
Phulbari Police Station OC confirmed the matter.
A case was registered against him under Narcotic Act with the police station, OC added.
