Fakhrul returns home after checkup in Singapore

   
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir returned home on Saturday after undergoing health checkup in Singapore.

BNP Media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan told the Daily Observer, "After 19 days, BNP Secretary General arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on a Bangladesh Biman flight at 6:30pm."
Earlier, 77-year-old Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir went to Singapore with his wife Rahat Ara Begum for treatment on March 4. He was treated by specialist doctors at two hospitals in Singapore and had a health checkup.

Mirza Fakhrul was released on bail on February 15 after nearly three and a half months of imprisonment. Later he received treatment at Shyamoli Specialized Hospital under the supervision of Prof. Shamsul Arefin.
