Daulatdia-Paturia route ferry service resumes after 6 hrs

The ferry movement on the Paturia-Daulatdia route has returned to normal after being closed for six hours due to dense fog.

On Wednesday around 9:45 am, the ferry service started again on the route when the fog subsided.
Earlier, BIWTC authorities shut the ferry movement for dense fog to avoid accidents around 03:30 am.

BIWTC Daulatdia Ghat manager Salahuddin said, "The ferry service has resumed from 9:34 am. Earlier, the service was stopped from 03:30 am on Thursday to avoid accidents as nothing could be seen in the fog. Now the serial of vehicles waiting to cross the river will decrease rapidly.''
