RAJSHAHI, Feb 17: Rajshahi Dalil Lekhok Samity (Rajshahi Amanuensis's Forum) formed a human chain and demonstrated to press home five-point demand that includes clearance of the documents that had been held in the Sub-Registrar's Office for six years.
The human was formed on Wednesday in the city. Sources said, a total of 70, 000 documents are held in the Sadar Sub-Register's Office since 2011 resulting common people's sufferings. 
Urging the concerned authorities to clear the files by six months and take necessary legal steps against the responsible persons, they also upheld their five-point demand that includes: giving certified documents to the buyers, cancelation of license no.538 and 539, to stop the activities of transferring volumes that are keeping since 1838 and to deploy all the vacant posts of the office. The Forum President Mohidul Haque, General Secretary Sheikh Zakatulla and Joint Secretary Al-Mamun addressed the human chain among others.
