325 Panchagarh houses get power connection

PANCHAGARH, July 21: About 325 houses of Daduarhat village under Debiganj upazila of the district were brought under rural electrification network by Panchagarh Palli Bidyut Samity (PPBS) recently.
A function was held on the premises of Sahidulla High School of the village on the occasion.
Advocate Nurul Islam Sujon, MP, formally inaugurated the electrification programme as chief guest.
Headmaster of the school Shyamol Kumar presided over the function.
It was addressed, among others, by Debiganj Upazila Parishad Chairman Hasnat Zaman Chowdhury, Upazila Awami League President A.S.M. Nuruzzaman and assistant general manager of PPBS Abdur Rashid.
