Zulfiqur new BD envoy to Brazil

The government has appointed Md Zulfiqur Rahman as the next Ambassador of Bangladesh to Brazil.
Zulfiqur Rahman, a career diplomat of 9th BCS (Foreign Affairs) who joined Foreign Service in 1991, is currently serving as the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Republic of Korea.
In his diplomatic career, he served as the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Turkey, Deputy High Commissioner in India, Minister at Bangladesh Permanent Mission to United Nations in New York, USA, said the Foreign Ministry here on Monday.
He also served in Bangladesh Missions in Manama, Los Angeles in different capacities.    �UNB
